Quality training – track

The Summer quality session is on the grass track behind Helsby High School. Monday nights, 6:30pm. Range of paces.

The winter sessions are now on — Castle Park, Frodsham, and this continues throughout the winter. 6:30 meet off Netherton Drive. Bring a headtorch if you like, but not essential.

There’s a few different sessions, to keep things fresh. We get a fair sized gang of different abilities taking advantage of these. Don’t be shy and come and put a dash of speed in your running.

No experience needed. No ability pre-requisites! You DON’T need to be in the club!

  1. This week was the best yet…really enjoyed the 200m relay races. It made me run faster than I meant to and my legs are still aching like mad today!!

  2. Doesn’t seem to get any easier…but…

monday nights are key for me! Really enjoyed the relay – looking forward to more of the same next week. Great that so many come along on Monday night

  3. Well I finally got chance to go to a Monday session and thoroughly enjoyable it was too (Apart from the whole getting tired business of course!)

Great to have people like Joe and Mario ready to give you the benefit of their experience, without being pushy. It’s as hard as you make it.

  4. It is hard and also fun at running club on mondays its good the way they space it out not putting it all together. I quickly got used to it and it is not too hard for children but you have to be prepared and ready as it is tiring. Everyone is very friendly. It is excellent and I have become faster and more confident with running since I have started coming on mondays ! Thank You !
