4 Helsby runners made the start line and very well done to Roy Tunstall who took home the shiny gold medal for his age category!
Conditions were ideal for running but maybe a little cold for watching. The ground wasn’t as muddy as expected with some people using trainers instead of spikes. A very enjoyable afternoon out. Hopefully a link to some photographs will follow. Positions of Helsby runners as below.

Following work by the co-host organisers and the referee in conjunction with Reaseheath College, the championships have been re-arranged for Saturday, 13th February, using the same time table and order of races.
Entries by 6th Feb.
Also if anyone would like entry to the Liverpool and District Cross Country Championships please let me know within the next few days as I will send the entries off by the weekend. The race is on Sunday 7th February 2010 at 11.00am. There are no entries on the day and no guest runners. I’ll just need your name and DOB. (For those people that have not already sent me their details.)
